MESSAGE FROM WAYNE
****************************
Hello my loves,
What interests me most is what are often referred to as The Simple Pleasures of Life. It is funny how the word "mundane" which means "of this world" has come to suggest something that is boring or trivial when to my mind the everyday is truly miraculous.
Our culture has speeded up to the point where there is a sense of urgency about everything. There is so much to see and know and do... jets, cell phones, computers, TV's all shrink and speed. But the more we know, the more there is to know. The more we do, the more there is to do. The images flash by so fast that they have to be assaultive to be noticed. What happens is that the senses become overloaded and numb.
Please know that I am not decrying the current state of affairs or calling for a return to pastoral living... rather I am pointing to what is happening. Sometimes, when there is grace, the seeing of what is happening is the conduit for change.
Stop for a moment. Look around. Take a deep breath. Here IT is. God in movement is right in front of your eyes. What a great laugh. The miraculous just sitting there, waiting to be known.
With much love,
Wayne

A LIVING GEM FROM RAMESH (previously unpublished)
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
What is the one final 'thing' we would refuse to be deprived of? We would give up anything at all, but not this one final thing?
It is the moment of falling asleep, when the very 'me' disappears. Why then should we be afraid of death?! The physical pain of dying? That pain belongs to 'living', not to 'dying'.

POEM
====================
My Potluck Funeral
When you plan my funeral
make it a potluck
bring any kind of celebration you want
and let's talk only of the exquisite wonder
and amazingly seamless magic
of this constructed wonder of the Beloved
No sorrow will be on the guest list
all wounded history left at the door
only playfulness and merriment will be allowed in
Hold the chisel
to my headstone
and everyone take a whack!
who cares what it spells
A grave marker can't describe
what never died
or was ever born
I am, You are
the melody of Nothing
so maddeningly beautiful
the world arose to hear it
Dearly Beloveds,
we have gathered here
wild and barefoot
to dance our way home
